Introduction:

Hi there!  I am currently a Masters Student in the Computer Science Department at the University of California, Santa Barbara which is located in Santa Barbara, California, well known for its gorgeous weather, great beaches and spectacular hills. My research interests include Computer Networks, P2P networks, Operating Systems and Security. Before coming to UCSB, I worked for companies like AMD India Engineering Centre and IBM India Software Labs in Bangalore. I received my Bachelors in Computer Science and Engineering in National Institute of Engineering, Mysore under the Vishveswaraya Technological Unversity, India

Summer Internship

This Summer (2007) I was a SDE Intern at Microsoft Corporation at their Redmond Campus. I worked with the Windows Reliability team which is a part of the Core Operating System Division (COSD). My project consisted of developing a tool for tracking handle leaks in applications. It involved several interesting concepts liks detouring system calls, injecting threads and dll's into applications, etc. On a side note, Seattle in summer was a visual delight and has a lot to offer! These are some interesting places I visited and some people I met. :)
